Canoga Park/ ACE's RUTH YouthBuild Site Information:
Ages Served: 16-24
Enrollment Process: Complete the enrollment interest form linked above. Potential participants will need to attend an orientation, meet with a staff member to submit all enrollment documents, and complete and pass a week of Mental Toughness with at least three excellent behavior and participant days.
Additional Services Offered:
- Construction training with the opportunity to earn OSHA 10 credentials and CPR credentials
- Mentoring
- Post-secondary and career planning
- Parenting classes
- Leadership development
- Community engagement
- Counseling and case management
- GRYD department (Gang Reduction Youth Development) provides additional supportive services for youth, such as court advocacy, tattoo removal, re-entry services, job readiness, community events, and goal planning.
- SECTOR program provides vocational training to justice impacted youth, as well as expungement clinics
