Why enroll at YouthBuild Charter School of California?
YouthBuild Charter School of California is a FREE accredited high school, serving young people ages 16-24+ at 15 YouthBuild programs throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, Moreno Valley, San Bernardino, San Diego and Fresno. Our school uses a project-based learning curriculum that is hands-on and lets students take ownership of their education. We offer classroom-based instruction with smaller class sizes than a traditional school, which allows students to receive more one-on-one support from their teachers and counselors. Additionally, our trimester system means students can catch up on credits faster than they could at schools using a semester system. On average, students can earn up to 30 credits per trimester or 90 credits per year. Our counselors will assess your previous school transcripts and only put you in the classes you need to graduate, so you won't have to retake classes you've already earned credits for at another school. Many of our students describe their YouthBuild experience as "like a family" and our caring and supportive staff are there to cheer you on every step of the way as you work towards your diploma.
