About Me
As Communication and Outreach Manager at YouthBuild Charter School of California (YCSC), I wear a variety of hats. I manage the school's website and social media, create recruitment and marketing materials for YCSC and its 17 sites, oversee YCSC's Free Student Public Transportation Program, film and edit student testimonials, help with school-wide event planning, generate student data reports, write press releases, and more. When someone contacts YCSC about enrolling, I'm usually the first point of contact. If you text the schools hotline number (213-741-2600) or fill our our online enrollment interest form, I'll help refer you to one of our 17 school sites. I started my work with YouthBuild Charter School of California as an AmeriCorps VISTA member back in 2011, and have loved working here ever since.
