YouthBuild Charter School of California receives most of its funding from the California Department of Education. However, because of our innovative approach to learning and student development, we need more than just the ADA support that a tight California economy is able to provide. YCSC’s unique educational model necessitates additional funding from outside sources in order to continually improve our schools and curriculum and further increase the number of students who graduate with high school diplomas and choose to further their education after completion of our program. 98% of our students are identified as socioeconomically disadvantaged and come from some of the most under-served neighborhoods in Southern California. In order to fully provide for the individual needs of each of our students, we are always looking for donors who support the work we do.
